Funeral Celebrant - Robyn Ratcliff
From the moment I became a celebrant I have been dedicated to delivering a farewell for loved ones that honours them, brings compassion to the family and creates a beautiful memory.
It is one of my greatest honours to facilitate the funeral process, to be the funeral or memorial celebrant for family and friends who are grieving. I respect this opportunity for the privilege it is.
I am a warm, calming presence at a funeral or memorial. I am always prepared to go above and beyond to create and perform a ceremony that truly honours your loved one. I am extremely organised and will make sure that everything proceeds exactly as you wish it to.
My background is in coaching and counselling, in particular grief counselling. As a coach I assist people to make whatever changes they wish to make in their life and work with them and support them as they do this.
I am an award winning professional speaker for conferences and seminars and have been engaged to speak on cruise ships as an enrichment lecturer. I am confident, calm, caring and inspirational.
I am based on the Central Coast NSW, and am prepared to travel to Sydney and Newcastle.
I am married to Andrew, together we have 6 children and 10 Grandchildren.
MY ROLE AS A CELEBRANT
You may have already selected the Funeral Company who will care for your loved one and family.
If so, please advice them that you have selected me as your Funeral Celebrant, and I will communicate and work with them.
If you have not yet selected a Funeral Company, I can assist you in selecting a suitable one.
Very often a Funeral director may suggest a recommended celebrant.
However you are not obliged to use the celebrant suggested/offered by the funeral director. It is very important that you find a celebrant that you trust to create the service, that you and your family would like to work with.
I can lead the service or play more of an MC role and this will be determined by how much you would like me involved.
I am highly experienced, supportive and professional.
I am creative and have many ideas so you can avoid the service feeling like every other funeral you have been to.
I will meet with and work closely with the family to get to know as much as I can about your loved one, and I will provide you with options and choices and assist you to have the perfect farewell for your loved one.
I will assist you and stand beside you every step of the way.
